Dual Diagnosis Treatment Program

When you deal with mental or behavioral health issues as well as a substance use disorder, dual diagnosis treatment is the right choice. Our dual diagnosis treatment options are designed to help you manage every condition you’re living with, so you can move forward successfully.

What is Dual Diagnosis Treatment?

A dual diagnosis occurs when someone has both a substance use disorder as well as a mental or behavioral health disorder. Dual diagnosis treatment addresses both (or all) conditions at the same time, so underlying mental health or behavioral health issues don’t negatively impact recover from substance use disorder (or vice versa)

Common Mental Health Disorders We Treat in Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Common mental health disorders treated in individual or group therapy and dual diagnosis treatment include:

  • Bipoplar disorder
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Trauma-related disorders

…as well as many others.

Common Substance Use Disorders We Treat in Our Dual Diagnosis Program

In our dual diagnosis rehabilitation centers, we also help with substance use disorder treatment. Common substance use disorders we treat include:

  • Alcohol addiction
  • Opioid addiction
  • Benzodiazepine addiction
  • Methamphetamine addiction

…and others.

How Does Dual Diagnosis Treatment Work?

In dual diagnosis treatment programs, the focus is placed on treating the substance use disorder and mental health concerns at the same time. By working through them together, it’s easier to help prevent the difficult symptoms that could lead to a relapse and teach new methods to cope rather than turning back to drugs or alcohol.

Is Dual Diagnosis Treatment Covered by Insurance?

Dual diagnosis treatment may be covered by insurance. Our Admissions Department will verify your benefits to determine if your treatment plans are covered 100%.

Our Treatment Programs

Our treatment programs vary because not everyone needs the same support. We offer the following types of treatment.

Inpatient Detox Programs

Inpatient detox treatment plans require you to live at the treatment facility 24-hours a day, seven days a week until you are through the symptoms of withdrawal. During that time, you’ll have around-the-clock medical, behavioral health, and mental health support.

Inpatient Rehab Programs

During an inpatient addiction treatment program, people live at the treatment facilities 24 hours a day. Our inpatient rehab program lasts 30, 45, or 60 days and includes room and board.

Intensive Outpatient Programs

Not everyone has time for an inpatient stay. Outpatient treatment plans make it easier to seek treatment and maintain outside responsibilities. Intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) require you to attend treatment for several hours at a time a few days a week.

Partial Hospitalization Programs

Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are a good choice for those who need monitored care but who would prefer to go home at night instead of living at the treatment centers. They last at least four hours a day, and they take place most or all days of the week.

Residential Mental Health Program

Residential mental health programs are similar to inpatient care. Ours are 30, 45, or 60 days in length and provide you with room, board, and a safe place to recover.

How Do I Determine if My Insurance Will Cover Treatment?

For those who are insured plans can cover anything from a few outpatient treatment sessions to the complete 60-day inpatient treatment program. Our Admissions Department will speak with your insurer when you reach out to us to seek treatment at (833) 999-1941. We can verify your benefits in as little as an hour.

PPO insurance coverage for Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Rehabs that accept PPO insurance don’t have to be a part of your insurance network for you to have coverage. Our Admissions Department will contact your insurer about your substance abuse treatment and mental health treatment plans to determine if it will cover the cost of treatment completely.
