But if you want to do your own research, we’ve come up with a list of frequently asked questions below. Hopefully, they will answer all your questions about the admissions process, our treatment programs, licenses and accreditations.

You never need an appointment to speak with our Admission Advisors. We are available to answer your questions about the admissions process at any time. Call us at (833) 999-1941 any time.
Solution Based Treatment accepts many different insurance policies from all over the country. Our Admission Advisors can check your benefits for you so you don’t have to call your insurance company. It’s a free service we provide all of our clients. Simply call us at (833) 999-1941 and we’ll ask you a few questions such as your insurance company name and policy number. Then, we will take care of the rest. During normal business hours, we can let you know within an hour if your insurance will cover the cost of care.
You have other options as well. You can submit a request to check your benefits online with us. Simply visit the Check My Coverage page on our website. You can also visit our Insurance page where there’s a longer list of policies we may accept and learn more about specific insurance companies.
We suggest brining the following to treatment:
- Your ID or drivers license and insurance card
- Seven days worth of clothing (we have laundry on-site in each of our residences)
- Workout wear (our main treatment center has an incredible gym)
- Athletic and/or comfortable shoes
- Toiletries
- Swimsuit or Swimming Trunks
- All medications you are currently taking in their original bottle
- Vitamins and/or supplements
- Diary, journal or notebook
- Musical instruments if you play them
- Ipod or MP3 player if it does not have access to WiFi
- Cigarettes if you are over 21 only.
Solution Based Treatment does not allow:
- Anything with alcohol in the ingredient label, e.g. hand sanitizer or mouthwash
- Any illegal substance
- Laptops
- Prescription medication that is not in its original, labeled container
- Narcotic or benzodiazepine based prescription medication
- Weapons of any kind
Your family or friends can also send you care packages while you are in treatment. Just be aware, a member of our staff will have to open and inspect the package to insure the safety of our clients.
There is, but only while you’re in the detox phase of treatment. This lasts anywhere from 7 to 10 days. you can, however, call your family and/or friends when your first arrive to let them know you’ve made it to our treatment center safely.
Your confidentiality is one of the things we take seriously. The only people that are able to contact you are the ones you approve of. When you arrive to our care, our Treatment Team will ask you who you’d like to add to your Release of Information form. This is a list of all the people that you choose to be able to communicate with. Anyone else that calls and inquires about you will be informed that Solution Based Treatment cannot confirm or deny the identity of any person in our care.
You can contact your family and friends and whomever else you need while not in the blackout period.

Yes. We offer both Day Treatment, commonly referred to as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs for substance use and mental health disorders.
Our clients come from all over the country for inpatient care. Many of them decide to continue their care with us after the residential phase and live in a sober living environment. Here’s a number of links to our outpatient programs:

Solution Based Treatment offers FDA approved taper medication and comfort medication while in the detox phase of care. The medical staff on our Treatment Team will prescribe ongoing medications afterwards if necessary.
Solution Based Treatment does not prescribe methadone or long-term, extended use of medications like suboxone for the treatment of addiction to opioids.
Solution Based Treatment is Licensed and Certified by the California Department of Health Care Services. We have consistently maintained our licenses and certifications.

Absolutely. We are accredited by the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission is a third part accreditation organization that accredits hospitals and behavioral health centers. Accreditation by the Joint Commission is considered the highest accreditation possible in the field of behavioral health and medicine.
